The Liebster Award 2

I’ve just been nominated for the Liebster Award by Vinnieh! It is always a very nice surprise to get nominated and I feel honored!

And now I will answer the questions he has set for me in order to accept the award, then my list of nominees and questions for them.

1. Do you prefer a shower or a bath?

A shower, because it is nice all the way through and you can move around. A bath, the water cools down and then I’m just sitting there slightly chilled and hardly moving and bored.

2. Have you ever met a famous actor or actress?

I vividly remember walking around in Barcelona 10 years ago and suddenly, Natalie Imbruglia appears around the corner with some photographers following her. That was it.

3. Do you consider yourself a talented dancer?

People are more likely to phone an ambulance when I am dancing, them thinking I’m having an epileptic attack.

4. Have you ever skinny dipped before?

Yeah, with some friends from the neighborhood when I was a child.

5. What is your birthstone?

I had to look this up. It’s a diamond, representing innocence, eternity and love. I’m rather happy about that. According to google, what my birthstone says about my sex life is that I arouse excitement, and I give everything, but when I’m done, I’m done.

6. What movie, no matter how many times you watch it, makes you cry?

This is a hard one, because none of the movies that I regularly watch make me cry. But, I think it is The Return of the King. When Aragorn the new king kneels before the four hobbits at his coronation.

7. Who is your favourite author?

At the moment perhaps China Mieville, but I also like Terry Pratchett and Philip K. Dick.

8. Are you a person who sleeps for a long time or rises early?

I sleep rather long, yes.

9. What is your favourite holiday?

Whenever I am on a holiday! But besides that, Christmas! I am a total sucker for the Christmas spirit. I love it.

10. Are you a horror movie fan?

No, sorry. I remember seeing Resident Evil in the theatre, 14 years ago, and I got so sick of jump scares that I never went to another horror movie ever again. Only last year, I tried it out again with It Follows and Krampus, but in general I am not fond of feeling scared.

11. And finally, describe what you think of my blog with five adjectives.

Your blog is like a homely pub, where everyone gets together and talks about movies and bums and things. It’s inviting, stimulating, welcoming, sophisticated and has a lot of positive energy.
